Ride for a Cause: the 2026 Rosarito–Ensenada Bike Ride
This Saturday, October 24, 2026, thousands of cyclists will gather in Rosarito Beach to ride one of the most scenic routes in Baja California: the Pacific coastline between Rosarito and Ensenada. The Rosarito–Ensenada Bike Ride is a beloved tradition that brings together riders from both sides of the border, and this year’s edition expects around 3,000 participants.

A Ride with Purpose
Beyond the athletic challenge, this ride has a very special mission: Fundación Castro-Limón organizes the event to raise funds for cancer treatment for children and teenagers. The 2026 edition is dedicated to five of the foundation’s patients, who represent the courageous fight of so many young people against this disease. Every kilometer you ride is also a message of support for them and their families.
Requirements
The ride welcomes cyclists of different levels, as long as you’re prepared for a 76 km distance.
E-bikes are not allowed.
You don’t need a professional bike — it just needs to be in good working condition. We recommend checking your brakes, tires, and chain a few days before.
Safety and Road Closures
To keep participants safe, there will be partial, temporary road closures in Rosarito and Ensenada on Saturday morning. If you’re driving that day, allow extra travel time, especially in downtown Rosarito and along the boulevard near the start line.
